By getting trained in First Aid you are definitely protecting the NHS.
You are the first responder in an emergency just like that lovely couple that came to my assistance when I was lying prone on that lonely country path, unable to stand unaided.
The lady was a trained medical service provider at the local Doctor’s surgery and knew all the right words to say, to reassure me that they knew what they were doing.
My own training picked up on that reassurance and I happily let them assist. From that incident we had certainly protected the NHS by enabling my self-healing.
Train in First Aid folks Save Lives and Protect the NHS for it is truly the best government funded organisation this country has ever had. May it always be so?
